Here is your daily collection of morning Ranger links:
- The salary arbitration filings by restricted free agents Brandon Dubinsky, Ryan Callahan, Michael Sauer and Brian Boyle on Tuesday means they will all be staying, assuming the are re-signed. Depending on how much each individual player is rewarded, the Rangers may have some money to play with after all four are re-upped. [Post (Brooks)]
- This past week could arguably be deemed a dream week for the Rangers considering all of their signings (and non-signings) that helped them improve for next season. [Blueshirts United]
- When Brad Richards met with the media at yesterday's Garden of Dreams event in New York, he stressed that he still has many more years of hockey in him and that the nine years is not something he is thinking about just yet. [Newsday (Zipay]
- ...Richards also reiterated that he is preparing himself for the pressure he will facing playing in the Capital of the World as opposed to Dallas and Tampa Bay. I think this is where good friend Sean Avery could come in handy. [Post (Kussoy)]
- It was a very busy day for Brad on Wednesday, as he also was interviewed on WFAN. Here's a recap of that interview... [SNY Ranges Blog]
- The Rangers have an excess of forwards - we know that - but what we don't know just yet is who, exactly, the excess forwards are. Erik Christensen, possibly one of them, seems like a likely candidate to be traded or waived before the start of next season. [Bleeding All Blue]
- 2010 first-round pick Dylan McIlrath has grown tremendously over the past year, especially in his level of self-confidence. That could possibly earn him a roster spot at the NHL level with the Rangers in 2011-12. [NHL.com (Kaplan)]
- The Rangers are rumored to have received multiple offers from around the league for restricted free agent center Artem Anisimov. All of which have been declined. [Rotoworld]
