Dubinsky Responds to Tortorella Comments

On Friday, head coach John Tortorella made some bold statements regarding Dubinsky and his absence at training camp, which hits day four today. If you did not read the article from Friday, here are some of the comments from Tortorella:

"Camps are important, you can't miss one day...every minute that goes by, it hurts the player and it hurts the team."

"It's stupid," Tortorella said. "I'm not going to put myself in the negotiations but it's stupid. He's a young man and he needs to be in camp. I'm not sure where the thinking is coming from."

Andrew Gross of Ranger Rants recently caught up with Dubi, and got his response to the statements made by Torts:

"Of course I am," Dubinsky said. "He's my coach. I care about everything he says. And he's right, as well, with that statement."

So there is still no progress being made in this deal, and nothing is in the works as of now. More on Day Four of Camp and other topics later....
