Today, the team skated 3 sets of 15 laps each, but again, Gaborik was kept away from the grueling drills, and underwent some off-ice testing.

Gaborik Sits in Day Two of Camp
Andrew Gross of Ranger Rants has been giving constant updates from training camp on his twitter (twitter.com/agrossrecord), and his most recent reported that Marian Gaborik did not skate in training camp for the second straight day. Marian did not participate in yesterday's on-ice activities either, instead working in the fitness room on his own.

No, he has actually been skating over the summer, unlike that fairy DiPietro on the fishsticks.

As of now, I think that it is being done for precautionary reasons, but we will keep a close eye on it.
