Traverse City Update: Rangers and Thrashers tied at One

At the conclusion of the first period in Traverse City, the Rangers and Thrashers are tied at one. Sam Klassen (assisted by Horak and Walker) the goal scorer for the Rangers, Evander Kane for the Thrashers.

Some Key Points from the first:
-Chad Johnson in net for Rangers
-Ethan Werek, Chad Johnson, and Justin Soryal all took penalties in first.
-Atlanta took two penalties themselves.
-Both goals scored at even strength.
